post Expand Your Payment Options and Terms

February 19th, 2009

Filed under: Miscellaneous — David @ 12:57 pm

Right now people and companies don’t have the disposable cash they use to have.  Expanding your payment options and terms can help you get buyers that you thought you couldn’t reach.

I’m constantly evolving around my clients.  One client wants this, one client wants that.  No problem if there is a work around I’m always happy to do it.

Payment options could be accepting online payments like PayPal, EPassporte, Revolution Money Exchange, Google Checkout, etc…  It could be accepting cash, check, money order, bank transfers, different credit cards.  Extended or subscription payments, discounts for one time payments, discounts for cash.

You have to be flexible if you want the client.  If I think a client is serious I’ll bend over backwards to accomodate them and everyone should be thinking the same.  I’ll even barter for something I need, if the cash isn’t available.

You might also want to offer a “lite” or less complex version of your product at a lower cost if it’s possible.  If you offer a service you can only do part 1 and later on down the line the client can purchase part 2 when they can afford it.

If the client is willing to negotiate, I’m willing to negotiate.

Of course if no matter how much negotiating and flexible you try to be you can’t come to an agreement, just walk.  It’s not worth wasted energy if there is no hope in saving a deal.

I’ve falled behind schedule on my posting.  Usually I have about a weeks worth of posts up in advance.  This time I’ve been so busy with tons of new projects that I’ve actually fallen behind on posting here.  Tomorrow I’ll throw some more posts into the cue and get back on schedule.

As of this posting Pittsburgh is winning 20-14.  Did you guys see that interception ran for 100 yards?

post Was Going to Write Some Ebooks…

January 11th, 2009

Filed under: Miscellaneous — David @ 5:44 am

…but of course I’ve decided to share them for free on this site.  There are about 50,000,000,000 ebooks out there and to be honest with you most of them are shit and aren’t worth the time it took to put the words down on their computer.

I have had mapped out for a long time a series of ebooks I was going to create, but to be honest with you I don’t want to sell the ebooks.  I figure if it’s out there for free people that really want to take action can do it.  Why charge a boatload for something that will probably end up collecting cyber dust in people’s computers?

The ebooks are related to affiliate marketing, being a webmaster in general, tips and tricks (of course), SEO, and just about anything else to do with having a business online.  I’m releasing it in parts.  Right now I’m publishing one post a day.  Of course I’m always ahead of the curve and have my posts all made far in advance.  There are so many topics in these books it will probably take me a full year to get the topics out there with a daily post, but it doesn’t matter I’m in it for the long haul.  I’ve been around for years and plan to stay around for years.

Stay tuned you will be getting content here that other sites charge you for and completely free.

This site has changed about a billion times in the last few years since I first bought this domain.  The design will probably change over time but I created this site to become a resource for business owners, webmasters, people trying to make money in general.

I’ve got tons of online tips and tricks I’m going to be sharing here.  Hopefully you’ll all enjoy.  Coming very soon.
